A walk on the wild side

A friend emailed a video and after reading
a little about it, I almost didn’t watch it. I’m
glad I did. The one drawback for me was the
background music by Kenny G.

He is a fine musician and we’re sure he
has plenty of fans, we just don’t happen to
be among them.

But the film was shot in Yellowstone National
Park and features wildlife in their natural
habitat. If you like the outdoors, and/or
wildlife, you should give it a look.

Another friend sent a video of a debate on
ObamaCare. It becomes clear pretty quick who
wins the debate.

How about the USS Iowa firing her 16-inch
guns again?

And one old song called ‘Crazy’.

Comments are always welcome.

    greenlightlady,
Our pleasure, when we find something we like we share it.

Why don’t Meyer’s freinds on here help him get a decent lawyer or is it common to leaves your freinds hanging by themselves?

  4. Nitrous55 says:

Oh, yeah! If you haven’t received your first paycheck of the year yet, more taxes will be taken out. The cut in the employee portion of FICA has expired. Heard that Dems have been complaining on blogs about it.

The sewer diversion project is now over 50 million. If you divide that by 25,000 homes M/L in Davenport, that equals a huge bill for every household to pay.

The coverage by the Times on Keith Meyer was slanted/bias/typical
No wonder few pay for that paper anymore.

Then about an attorney for Keith. I thought if you had low enough income, that you got a free attorney. What happened here?

    Nitrous55,
And if he doesn’t want a lawyer we should respect that also. As for taxes going up, we have to pay for the best legislators money can buy somehow.

    anonymous,
It does seem like a lot money. The Times hasn’t liked him since he was still on the City Council, and sometimes it shows. We don’t know Keith’s income because that is a question we don’t ask or answer.

    Anonymous,

The sewer diversion project is much needed, as we west enders know. If we don’t spend the $50 million the EPA/DNR will make us spend $150 million on an equalization basin.

The coverage on Keith by the QCT was pretty much straight forward. I was there at the hearing. It was actually, I thought, very sad. Keith doesn’t want a lawyer, and without one, I think he’s going to jail.

    bill edmond,
It is needed, but still seems expensive. I don’t know why he doesn’t want a lawyer but also feel he needs one.

    Cruiser,

It is expensive, but it didn’t have to be this expensive. For years previous councils were more interested in their internal bickering and fighting than getting anything done. If this had been done 15 years ago it would have cost about $12 million vs the $51 million it’s costing today.

    bill edmond,
lol, And I thought $12 million was expensive back then.
