Sorry again for the late post, we’ve been home for hours but
with the phone and doorbell ringing haven’t had the time to
sit down yet. We talked with Dad’s doctor this morning and the
prognosis was good. He’ll still be in the hospital a few days
but he’s ok with that.
Thank you all for the prayers and good thoughts. We talked of
things that happened on the farm having a good laugh and were
really happy to see him better. The drama continued, but again
I brushed it off. Since some weren’t talking to me I don’t
know what their problem is nor do I care. I’m just sorry this
has bothered my youngest brother so much.
And once again the Vintage Torquefest is coming up this week.
Things will kick off in downtown Dubuque at 6:30 pm with an open
header cruise before things end up at the fairgrounds for some
live music and a summary of what’s going to happen Friday and
Saturday. If you know John, he puts on a great show and all
proceeds goes to Helping Hannah’s Heart.
It’s a good charity that helps children with heart defects and
you can spend the day and not experience everything. It’s not
looking like we’ll make it this year, but we’ll be there in
spirit. Enjoy what’s left of our Wednesday, it’s the first one
in May. Now it’s time to find a pizza, grab a Coke, and take
my boots off.
Comments are always welcome.
