It’s gone now

As the sun went down on the last day of the weekend it was
time to think of all we’ve done since Friday morn. Our usual
Friday grocery run, an indoor car show with a cruise to couple
big box stores the wife wanted to visit, ate healthy for two
days, and broke down and bought a bird feeder.

Most went smoothly. But if everything went right we’d be
talking about a movie and not real life. The bumps in the road
weren’t hard to handle, and we manged to dance in the car
every time we pulled back in the driveway.

The squirrels were acting squirrely and the birds
continued to pose when asked. we even saw a blue jay fly
in front of a cloud right as I snapped the pic.

We saw eagles gliding through the sky, heard geese making
their getaway, and saw more critters today than we have for
quite a while. Hard to believe I haven’t had a pizza since
Friday night.

Yes, the eating healthy thing. We had lean fish fillets with
potatoes Saturday and tacos made with lean meat today. That
means tomorrow I have pizza so there are no mood swings. I
will admit I was skeptical when the wife bought an air fryer,
but the thing does make some great tasting fish.

Now it’s time to sack out in preparation of what the new day
will bring. Enjoy our upcoming week.
Comments are always welcome.

The birds all look fat or maybe they’re fluffing themselves up to keep warm and the squirrel looks fat and sassy. Sounds like you had a great weekend and eating healthy for two days probably won’t hurt ya, but a pizza is probably in order LOL Today I was outside with only a sweatshirt and sweat pants~pretty amazing since it’s still January, but it’s not going to last as the forecast is for temps in low 30’s and flurries all week long. Have yourself a wonderful week.

it’s been warm around here but a week from Wednesday we go back to winter with highs in the 20s. The critters are chubby which I took to mean it was going to colder. Pizza is on the menu tonight and have a great week yourself.

    QC Cat,
I got one Sunday and was guaranteed it would attract cardinals. We’ve see 10 times more finches than cardinals since I put it up!

I guess those finches can’t read!

lol, that must be it. Either that or we didn’t notice all of them before we put up the feeder.
