We were on the road again at 5 am after clearing 5 inches of snow off the car and 3 more inches falling. We heard the mountain road was closed shortly after we went through last night when we checked out of the motel. We got to Mountain Home, Idaho around 11 am and shortly after got together with the kids and our granddaughter.
As we made the final leg today, we once again ran into snow and ice covered roads. The twist was the ultra-high winds that blew us all over Idaho. The car looks like its been through a war and priority one tomorrow is finding a car wash to give it a bath and get some of the salt off.
I’m still working with the software with the new camera and will try to post some pictures as I figure
it out. Bear with me as I pull my hair out to get it.
Until then, I hope you like these few pictures. In the next few days they’ll be more and with any luck those will turn out more interesting than these. We have to work with what we have. So in mean time, keep the shiny side up. And if the shiny side gets slush covered, wash it.
Comments are always welcome.
