Real or rumor?

We’ve been hearing a lot of scuttlebutt about a
new vehicle lately and that is nothing new. What is
new is the fact that said vehicle cannot be verified.

Ford doesn’t list the vehicle on their
website even though it is supposed to debut in a
few months. Yet websites have information and even
cost of the vehicle.

The picture above is of the 2015 Ford Torino GT in
question. Websites claim 435 hp and 400 lb-ft of
torque on 93 octane, 0-60 times of less than 4
seconds, a top speed of 170 mph, and a base price
of around $40,000. All while getting 15 mpg city and
25 mpg highway.

A few of the websites featuring the car are:

Either way, the “old” Torino is good enough for

The interest is there if the websites are any
indication and they would be able to sell them
if they made them, but we’re leaning toward a
the whole thing being a rumor.

Comments are always welcome.

I like it…but I don’t at the same time. It has elements of the Mustang, Camaro, and almost the rear end of my Challenger. I guess I don’t know how to feel about it.

Top speed and price seem bogus. Also, looks like a new front end on a Camaro. I say it is a trial balloon. Seeing what kind of interest there is.

the only thing I noticed that looked like a Torino is the front of the
    hood. It is different.

could be a concept but we wondered why they call it a 2015 model.
If it is real we won’t be buying one anyway, so we’ll wait and see.
