They’re here….

A couple things are going on here in Iowa that we
think merit mentioning. We know other parts of the
country are getting crazy, but here in the farmland
we never thought it would affect us.

Yet our Governor has signed a proclamation that
says April 8th is the annual Muslim Recognition
Day! We have to wonder why when some of this group
are trying to kill us and the fact that Muslims
equal .00397% of the population of Iowa, they
need their own day.
For the
article, go here.

The other thing is that Iowa will now get some of
the 100,000 Muslim immigrants each year as we have
3 cities designated by the State Department as
Sanctuary cities. There are 190 such cities across
the country, and we have 3.

Of course there will be no screening to wean the
terrorists from the rest of the incoming group.
The closest city to us is Cedar Rapids which is
on the list along with Des Moines.

If you want to see if your state and/or city is
on list go to that article.

We wonder how many sleepless nights were wasted
to come up with this.
Comments are always welcome.

  1. The GMLA says:

I am not surprised religious groups are murdering each other. Morals started ruling this country and others instead of the Supreme law, The Constitution.

God only knows the number of our days. It reminds me of before my dad passed away he worried about the mosquito west Nile scare, and I told him that. I also bought a bat house for him.

  3. Jon Gregory says:

Really? That just pisses me off so bad! Why do we have a Muslim day, when there’s no “Christian Day”, “Bhudist day” or whatever! Plus as you said, why are we recognizing this minority while not paying attention to the majority, and some members of the minority want to kill all Americans. Sometimes I wonder about politions. There’s a lot of disturbing stuff going on out there.

    The GMLA,
we’ve turned into a “gimme” state. Too many groups think they are owed something.

Amen to that. Life is too short to worry about things we can’t control.

    Jon Gregory,
funny thing is our Governor is a Republican. We have the finest politicians money can buy., but we do live in interesting times.

  5. Anon says:

I wonder when Mayor Goober will jump on this wagon? Also, Alderman Boom. He says we need to be more diverse and accepting of all.

  6. cruisin2 says:

I admit to being surprised Davenport wasn’t on the list. It does sound like something those two would endorse.

  7. Anonymous says:

No Christian Day? What about Christmas, Easter and Good Friday? And let’s not forget Thanksgiving.

  8. cruisin2 says:

Christmas is now Winter break, Easter is now Spring break, I can’t
ever remember getting Good Friday off, and the administration wants to change the name of Thanksgiving. So we have no government sanctioned Christian days.
