Happy Labor Day

As you may have guessed by now, holidays
make us think of cars. This is especially
true on Labor Day.

After all, somebody has to build the cars,
ship the cars, and sell the cars. And we
found a rare version of mass-produced Ford.

Still listed on ebay, with a week
left on the bidding is a 1970 Ford Torino
King Cobra that you can buy now for only
$599,900.

One of only 2 original test cars remaining,
it is a survivor of the aero wars that saw
the production of the Plymouth Superbird.

Powered by a Boss 429 V-8 and backed by a
4-speed it can scoot. It makes 700 horsepower.

The car has a history that can be seen,
along with a lot more pictures, at the link
provided above.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday and don’t
drive any faster than your guardian angel
can fly.
Comments are always welcome.

    Brittius,
