If you want to look at some pictures
from this year’s Torque Fest go here.
We heard there were over 800 cars at
the show and while we didn’t make it,
or son did and snapped the pictures.
There are 111 pictures on the link to
help you get a feel of the event. If you
haven’t gone to a Torque Fest, next
year’s date is May 3 & 4, 2012. It’s
only a short 40 mile cruise to
Maquoketa.
Comments are always welcome.

I see one is ok, but what about the other two? Do we really want those kind of people thinking they can do what they want with their property?
Habitat will soon want to paint all their houses just like that brilliant purple car.
Luv that purple car, but Habitat will only be able to do it if they get permission from Cruiser, QCI and Gluba.
Nitrous, what part don’t you understand about the fact Barnhill asked for the approval, Gluba made the motion, with Meador
( Buffalo) seconding, as a members of the Waste Commission of Scott County to waive the disposal fees for the house on the site where Habitat is going to build. 3-0 in favor. You pay Nitrous
Nitrous55,
we believe we have explained our opinion as well as we can.
Nuckin_Futs,
I like it.
nitrous55,
We have nothing to do with decisions the city makes, you’d
have to ask the others what they think.
Shabonee,
Right, we all pay for something that isn’t needed.
And we will pay the next two years and beyond.
Shabonee, if you are crying over the fact that the city is waving the demo fee, then I’ll cry with you. They should not be waiving the dee, but we voted these guys back in without any opposition. We are stuck with them for another two years and we knew they were like this.
As for tearing down the house, I may not like it, but I do not own it. I do not like others telling me what I can do with my things and I bet niether do you, Crusier.
Nitrous55,
We did not vote for the Mayor or any incumbant.
The city tells us what we can and can’t do with our
property all the time. The cars are a different story,
but there again the government is always trying to
pass something that is restrictive to our hobby.
