Escape from reality

After much consideration, and even
more conversation, the wife and I
have made a decision. It was not an
easy decision to make, but sometimes
that’s what being an adult is all
about.

We are going to run away from home.
A little later today will cruise to
undisclosed, exotic, romantic
location within driving distance of
our home.

When we arrive we will not leave
the cell phones on or the laptop
plugged in, and will have some alone
time.

The duration of the getaway is a
matter of how soon we get tired of
chasing each other around the rumpus
room.

So, enjoy the nice Iowa weather,
and we left the light on for ya’.
