By now most of us have heard of the school fights that happened today. North high had a fight involving around 30 kids, and West had a smaller fight. There is even talk of a lawsuit against the city by one student at North. Our take on it is that the kids should get expelled, and the 22 year old sister of a student should get jail time. Those involved should also be charged in court. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior. We don’t know the race, creed or color of the combatants, but they should be charged with mob action.
There should be a news conference tomorrow. We hope it helps clear things up. Until the air clears, comments on any subject are welcome.

wasn’t fighting the good way to resolve disputes in the past? 50 years ago, would 2 people get arrested for a fist fight? now if a couple people start shoving each other there’s police, lawyers, lawsuits, police reports, arrest records, and all this other crap to deal with.

The news didn`t make it clear about the taser during this fight. Did the police taser a student, or did a student taser another student?

40 years ago if we got in a fight in school, they’d let us go back to class if we’d shake hands. 40 years ago we also didn’t have mass shootings, or hate crimes. We did have a dress code and were responsible for our actions.

There were not hate crimes 40 years ago because that politically correct wording wasn’t around. Obviously if 2 people are fighting it’s not out of love.
